An educational display for Blacksmiths at an New England Blacksmiths gathering
I've been active in many blacksmithing groups.
I am a member of the New England Blacksmiths and you can contact me as to meets, workshops, or membership forms to join the organization.
Another group I participate with, is the Green Mountain Blacksmiths Association - whose main goal is the promotion of the art of blacksmithing. We do demonstrations along these lines in the Northern Vermont area. Shelburne Farms Harvest Festival has become a yearly event which I participate in (pictured below).
The Lamson Farm located on the Lamson Farm Rd. in Mont Vernon, NH - is the historic site where we also demonstrate and currently have a building designated to just that purpose to promote blacksmithing. Their "Farm Day" is on the last Saturday in September every year.
The Morrell Family has asked me to demonstrate the art of blacksmithing at the Hopkinton State Fair for the past five years. We set up right next to the "Morrell Farm Museum" by the side door if you'd like to come by and visit during the four days of the fair.
I also hold workshops and educational programs for those interested in metalworking at my shop on occasion.
